Dear Brian, Kimmy and Koki,
I met your wife/mother only a few times but her warmth, postive energy and liveliness made me understand what an amazingly strong and powerful woman she was. It felt so right that you all live in our house. I cant imagine the pain her loss causes. Take good care of each other!

Lena, Lena! I cant believe you are no longer here! I cant stop crying. You were beautiful inside out. You were strong in all circumstances. You taught your children to be strong. You model them kindness, resilience, perseverance and hope. Every time you wrote to me you express how proud you were with all you had gain. You were always grateful with Lena. My Dearest Lena,

Each time I have tried to write something tears have filled my eyes as I think of the reality that is yet to fully register.

Lena Mbithe Aaron, you were my most cherished friend from when I was 12 years old. You were caring, loving and loyal and you always showed up when I needed you. I didn't have a best friend until I met you. We shared good time and sad time, difficult times and joyful times and you made everything wonderful with your good humour and can-do attitude. What did we not do Lena? Luckily for us we did things we do not fear speaking about. Our love for God brought us together. From when I was young, you became more of a sister than a friend.

God knows that I have cried every day for you since you passed and I dont know how long this will take but it is a measure of how much you meant to me.

Dear Brian, Kimmy and Koki,
You were loved by Lena beyond measure. Her years as a Wife and Mother were amongst the happiest I have ever known her to be. Thank you for bringing her joy. Thank you for loving her. Thank you that because you are there, she remains in our midst.

The world is poorer today without her and I'll miss Lena forever.

I thank God for the gift of so good a person, my best friend and I'm glad to have shared a larger part of my lifetime with her.

Dearest God, keep my friend Lena in your Heavenly abode where I hope to meet her some day when I too leave this world.
Lena was exception, the very best there can be in a friend. I cannot imagine that she's gone but such is the Will of God.
